Larry Keith Albert, age 65, of St. Paris passed away at 7:28 a.m on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in his residence. Born on October 14, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio, Larry was a son of the late Frank and Alice Roark Albert. Larry married Betty Jean (Smith) Aubry on March 26, 2011 and she survives in St. Paris. He is also survived by three children; Lisa (Jeff) Dunham of Urbana, Kelli (Scott) LeVan of Bellefontaine, Justin (Rachel) Albert of St. Paris. Two stepchildren also survive; Jim (Jenny) Israel of South Charleston, Ohio and Kim Israel Bryant of Springfield. Larry was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren; Austin & Brandyn Dunham and Brock, Baylie and Jessica LeVan and seven great grandchildren; Dustin, Matt, Maecan, Joe, Tiffany, Jessica and Cheyenne. He is also survived by sister Ann Chase of Huber Heights, brothers Stewart (Tanya) Albert and Don (Joyce) Albert both of New Carlisle, sisters Jane Bishop of Dayton and Melody (Terry) Adkins of New Lebanon and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Larry was a 1965 graduate of Graham High School and served in the U.S Air force from February 4, 1966 to February 3, 1972. He retired from Navistar in Springfield. He was also a attended the Lutheran Church, Urbana and was a member of the VFW # 3660 Springfield, Moose Lodge #698, Urbana, AmVets of Springfield and Urbana American Legion Post 0120. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St, St. Paris, Ohio with Pastor Mike Poole of the Urbana Lutheran Church presiding.
