MRS. EMMA CATHERINE BEACHLEY, 91, formerly of Hagerstown, died at the Fairfax Nursing Home in Fairfax, Va. Saturday.
Born in Frederick County, Md., she was the daughter of Jonas and Jennie Kephart Gross. She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church of Boonsboro and was the widow of John H. Beachley.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Eula Palmer of the Fahrney Keedy Home; one son, Albert H. Beachley of Arlington, Va.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Rudy of Smithsburg and Mrs. Laura Rudy of Hagerstown; and one brother, John Gross of Boonsboro.
Services will be held at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Clair L. Leber. Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
