Wilma Abby Symns Bailey, 95, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, three days before her 96th birthday.

She was born to William and Abigail Cory Symns on November 23, 1916 in Hutchinson, Kansas where she grew up.

She married Vernon Bailey on September 16, 1945 at Sheppard Field, Texas. Vernon passed away on January 23, 1999.

Wilma was the loving guardian of her family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ogden and the Good Sam Club.

She loved to travel with Vernon. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed sewing and knitting.

Wilma is survived by her son, Bruce (Sherry) Bailey and grandson, Gavin Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister.
