MUNCIE- Larry L. Cougill, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Muncie on December 29, 1939 to Earl A. and Olive M. (Dillie) Cougill. Larry grew up in Muncie and attended Muncie Public Schools.
He worked as a Machine Operator for Muncie Metal Spinning for about 12 years.
He was a past member of the Eagles Lodbge Aerie 231.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Julia Cougill of Muncie; one son, Larry W. Cougill (wife, Misty) of Muncie; two daughters, Donna Lambert (husband, Larry) of Lynchburg, VA and Connie Marler (husband, Dee) of Kokomo; three step-sons, Wiley Fitzgerald of Muncie, William Fitzgerald, of Muncie, and Scott Fitzgerald (wife, Becky) of Indianapolis; three step-daughters, Cathy Pizzola of Portland, Melanie White of Muncie, and Barb Fitzgerald of Middlebury; eight grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and nine step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Olive Cougill; one step-daughter, Julie Thornburgh; and one brother, Wayne Cougill.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2007 at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Karen Powell officiating.
Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Friends may ball from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Parson Mortuary and for an hour prior to the services on Monday.
