S/O Charles and Judith (Goss) Arford
He was hit by a coal truck while riding on a motor scooter at the intersection of Church Hill Road and 286 in Hillsdale. He suffered from an open head injury with diffuse cerebral contusion (while wearing a helmet). Placed on brain death protocol, he was pronounced dead at 5a.m. and his organs were donated.
He enjoyed riding his scooter, tinkering with things, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends.
Though never diagnosed, it is believed he suffered from dyslexia, leading to learning problems in grade school.
He was in the process of getting his GED and potentially joining the Army.
He got his name from Kelly McGuire "Big Kelly" as he was known to our family. Memorial #189873714
