Henry County native Jimmy D. Brown, 71, of Smyrna died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church near Henry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. at the church. Ridgeway Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.

Visitation also is planned from 2-6 p.m. today at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna.

Brown was a son of the late Irvin and Annie Hamlin Brown.

His wife, Ann Brown, preceded him in death.

He attended River of Life Church in Smyrna.

He leaves five children: Tony (Debbie) Brown of Henry, Debbie (Allen) Merritt of Knoxville, Peggy (Scott) Zdeb and Debbie McDonald, both of Murfreesboro, and Danny (Barbara) Lipps of Smyrna; two brothers: Glen Brown of Henry and Bill Brown of McKenzie; a sister: Betty Ruth Revel of Henry; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
