She was born Jan. 24, 1940 in Decatur County to Henry T. McKay and Margaret Jane Robertson. She married Perry"Junior"Boles on Nov. 2, 1958, and he preceded her in death March 11, 2001.
Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Donald(Penny)Jones of Shelbyville; sons, Perry D.(wife, Andrea)Boles of Rushville, Phillip E. Boles and Scotty L.(wife, Kelly)Boles, both of Shelbyville, and Russell A.(Sheryl Burdine)Boles of St. Paul; stepdaughter, Mrs. Norman(Diana L.)Jones of Fairland; sister, Letha Hall of Rushville; sisters-in-law, Barbara Walton of Shelby County and Fran McKay of Chicago, Ill.
friend and neighbor, Jodie Moore of Shelbyville; 25 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; infant son Gerald Boles; and husband, Perry Boles.
Ms. Boles attended Shelbyville High School. She was a lifelong Shelby County resident.
She was employed with Overhead Door Corp. in Shelbyville for 19 years as an assembly line worker before retiring. She enjoyed worshipping at her home and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service&Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the funeral home with Dr. Robert Burgbacher officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
