Green-Wood Cemetery
Section 67, Lots 513-516, 1368-1372, and 2421-2432.
Twenty-one lots were purchased to accommodate the giant burial mound beneath this enormous monument. But only 7 people rest here, and 4 of those whose names adorn the crowning monument are buried elsewhere. Maria Matilda Green (1843-1848) was moved here from The New York Marble Cemetery on Second Avenue.
