her home, 207 State St, after a
long illness.
A native of Albany, Miss Bendell
waa the daughter of the late
Dr. Herman Bendell and Mrs.
Bendell. She was a granddaughter
of the late Dr. Joseph Lewi
of Albany. She was a graduate
of Albany High School and State
College for Teachers. Miss Bendell
served as secretary of the
City Club of Albany more than 20 years
before her retirement about 2 years ago.
She Is survived by a sister, Mrs
Daniel England, Pittsfield, and
a brother, Dr. Joseph L. Bendell, Albany.
