Anderson - Arthur M. Klugh, Sr., 81, died at a local hospital yesterday.
Funeral services will be at the chapel of Sullivan-King Mortuary Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Old Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Klugh was born in Greenwood County, a son of the late Louise Franklin Klugh and Thomas Henry Klugh. He was a graduate of Clemson College and a former member of the New York Cotton Exchange.
He had served as chairman of the sinking fund commission of Anderson, and had served as an alderman and Mayor pro-tem of the city of Anderson.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hattie Lyon Klugh; one son, Arthur M. Klugh Jr. of Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. W.E. Rankin Jr. of Anderson and Mrs. S. Wayne Gamble Jr. of Kingstree; one brother, Dr. George Fred Klugh of Sanford, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren.
