Mrs. Hazel Pippin
Erwin – Mrs. Hazel Pippiin, 87, 510 Seventh St., died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was a Bristol, VA native and a daughter of the late Sam and Leona Crumley Mauk.
Mrs. Pippin was a homemaker.
She was a member of Fishery Community Church.
Mrs. Pippin was preceded in death by her husband, J. H. "Jack" Pippin, in 1986 and two sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Katie Jones and Judy Honneycutt, both of Erwin; two brothers, Worley Mauk and Pete Mauk, both of Erwin; four sisters, Jean Carolyn Mauk and Betty Jo Buchanan, both of Erwin, Naoma Wright, Kingsport and Gladys Hilbert, Canada; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Valley Funeral Home is in charge.
