Evelyn the second child of Ascencion "John" Arias and Beatrice Murdanes was born in Madera where she was raised and lived much of her life.
She met and married the love of her life, Fred Bjorquez Santillan in Oct 1957 in Madera, CA where two of their four children were born.

Evelyn's love of genealogy led her to many exciting discoveries of her ancestors and her connections with so many cousins throughout the Firebaugh, Fresno, and Madera areas. Her first ancestors in California arrived in 1775-76 with the Juan Bautista de Anza Expedition. She was also of Yaqui Indian descent from the mid 1700s. Her drive to find more about her ancestors was an inspiration for so many of her primos!
She is greatly missed.
