Agnes retired from Wilson Memorial Hospital after 21 years of service.
Surviving are her husband, Harold E. Maxton of Wilson; her son, Donald A. Aycock and wife, Marcia of Middlesex; her daughter, Sue A. Warren and husband, Calvin of Wilson; three grandchildren, Renee A. Maas and husband, Jeff of Middlesex, Drew Aycock and wife, Amy of Wilson, and Kendall Warren of Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Andy, Jackson, Vicki, Shelby, and Caroline; two step-grandchildren, Kevin Warren and Corrie Warren; five step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Annie Belle Lamm Mercer of Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Harvey and Mattie Joyner Lamm; two sisters, Betty Christine "Tincy" Barnes and Retha Lamm Thorne; two brothers, Wiley Felton Lamm and Richard Thomas Lamm.
