Oran, Rhoda and John Jr., were the children of John J. and Mary J. Carmer Schwab. John was the son of Goodleib and Christina_____ Schwab. Mary was the daughter of James Monroe and Jeanette Roxy Taft Schwab.
On the 1930 MI census he is married to a Forline (?) 20 yrs. 1940 MI census he is listed alone, but married. His obituary lists his wife as Bernetta.
I'm not sure if Oran was living or visiting in Canada when he died following a major operation. I assume he was living there as that is where he was buried. Ah mysteries ya gotta love em.
By his obituary he was buried in Green Lawn Memorial cemetery. I have to assume that is the one I have listed him being buried in as there are no cemeteries in the states with that name. Also, I found a newspaper article that several of his relatives traveled to Ontario for the funeral.
