Charles T. Anderson, son of Harriett Ann
and James H. Anderson was born on
August 22, 1869 at Bigelow, Kansas and
passed away March 29, 1945 at Christ’s
Hospital in Topeka, Kansas at the age of
75 years, 7 months and 7 days.

On January 26, 1892 he was united in
marriage to Sarah Jane Barksdale of
Center township, Marshall. To this
union four children were born. One
son, Louis Edward Anderson preceded
His father in death in 1920. Mrs.
Anderson passed away on December 17,
1941.

Most of Mr. Anderson’s life was spent
in and around Bigelow, Kansas and with
the exception of seven years spent in
Marengo, Iowa where he was engaged in
farming. For the past three years he
has made his home with his son, Julius
west of Frankfort.

In 1921 he became a member of the
Methodist Church of Frankfort. He was
kind and loving father.

Those who survive are three children,
William C. Anderson, Topeka, Kansas,
Julius D. Anderson, Frankfort, Kansas
and one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Clair
Blue Rapids, Kansas; five sisters, Mrs.
Mary Miller and Mrs. Lora Tebbutts,
Frankfort, Kansas, Mrs. Lillian Bennett
Milwaukee, Oregon, Mrs. Virgina Kauf-
man, Los Angeles, California and Mrs.
Rose Evans, Vica, Oklahoma; one brother
Grover Anderson, Frankfort; nine grand-
children.

Funeral services were held on Sunday,
April 1, 1945 at the Methodist Church in
Frankfort with Reverend R.G. Anderson.

Interment was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
