Mrs. Carrie Joyner Abbott, 56 of Perdido Beach, Florida, died February 10 in Foley. Funeral services were held February 15 at 2 p.m. from Higgins Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John Huggins officiating. Burial was in Old Baptist Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Abbott, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Gray, Perdido Beach; three sons, John Abbott, Pensacola; Cecil Abbott, Daphne; Carlos Abbott, U. S. Army; her mother, Mrs. Betty Joyner, Perdido Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Ellis, Monroeville and Mrs. Mamie Brantley, Uriah and four brothers, Clarence and Luther, Perdido Beach; Everett, U.S. Army and Douglas, Mobile. Arrangements were by Higgins Mortuary, Foley.
