Elsbeth, 'Faithful Loving Mother', passed away May 22, 2012, in Sandy, Utah, of causes incident to age. She was born March 14, 1925, in Granger, Utah, to William Henry and Isabelle Bawden Bangerter. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1943, and attended BYU. She married V. Milo Hansen May 23, 1945, in the Salt Lake Temple.

They moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where they began their family. They later moved to Bellevue, Washington, in 1970, because of a change in Milo's work. Following Milo's death, she returned to Utah to live near family. Elsbeth was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She served in all of the auxiliaries of the LDS Church; multiple times as Relief Society president and in the Boy Scouts. She was an excellent seamstress, avid reader and a born teacher.

She is survived by her five children, Terry Milo Hansen, Karl Evan (Barbara) Hansen, Val Bangerter (Susan) Hansen, Nelma Hansen (Jed) Porter, Victor Mack (Rhonda) Hansen; 20 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, Margaret Hansen, and daughter-in-law, Susan Hobson Hansen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, at noon in the Crescent Park Stake Center, 11350 S. 1000 E., Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 S., and Saturday at the church, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 3 p.m. in the Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, Wash.
