UNICOI - Everett "Tex" Stitt, 68, Rt. 1, died Saturday in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Mountain Home.
He was a native of Tipton, Ind., and a retired construction worker.
Mr. Stitt was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Ambrose Stitt; three brothers, Charles Stitt, Anderson, Ind., Raymond Stitt, Avenel, N.J., and Chester Stitt, Florence, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Barlow, Cottage Grove, Ore.
