Ronald J. McBeth, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at his home. Mr. McBeth was born Aug. 5, 1941, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Harry Sr. and Margaret Echard McBeth. Ron was a machine operator employed by the former Modulas Corp. and was a bartender at American Legion Post 446 in Mt. Pleasant. He had also served in the Army National Guard. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching old westerns, and spending time with his best friend, Mickey, Tammy's dog. He is survived by his loving family; his daughter, Tammy J. Hepple and her husband, Christopher, of Smithton; his two stepdaughters, Mary R. Lint, of Scottdale, and Peggy Brin, of New Stanton; his granddaughter, Kayla McBeth; and his stepgrandchildren, Megan, Jeannie, Stacey, Wesley, Tiffany and Zachary. He is also survived by his three sisters, Linda J. Sullenberger, of Rocktown, Judy C. Mensch, of Scottdale, and Kimberly S. Greenawalt, of Ruffsdale; and his four brothers, Paul E. McBeth, of Madison, Terry L. McBeth, of Scottdale, Robert G. McBeth, of Central, and Dennis K. McBeth, of Tarrs. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his two brothers, Harry A. McBeth Jr. and Alfred McBeth; by his sister, Shirley Pence; and by his great-grandson, Tyler McBeth. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at GALONE-CARUSO'S, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Robert Chambers, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
