Ralph Sooter, 87, died Nov. 23, 1997, At Wheatlands Health Care Center, Kingman.
He was born Dec. 13, 1909, at Hiawatha, the son of Preston M. and Buelah Kline Sooter. A Wichita resident for most of his life, moving to Kingman in 1991, he was a retired supervisor for the O.A Sutton Corp.
He was a member of the Church of Crist.
He married Ester Lorraine Hoyt at Salina, She died in 1982.
Survivors include: a son, Edward, Maryville, Tenn.; two daughters, Sharon Hembree, Greenfield, Mo.; and Charlotte Swor, Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Pearl Travis, Norfolk, Va., and Ruth Wilson, Independence, Mo., nice grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 1 P.M. Friday in Roselwan Cemetery, Salina, with Pastor Bob Allis presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
Memorials may be sent to the Kingman Library, in care of the funeral home.
