ANDERSON - John Ramsey Lomax, 80, of Old Williamston Road, died at 6pm Thursday in the Anderson Hospital following five years of illness and two weeks of critical illness.
Mr Lomax was born Feb 25, 1890 in Abbeville County, a son of the late James E and Jennie Black Lomax.
He was retired from Gallant-Belk Store after many years of employment there as a Department Manager. He was educated in the old Cokesbury College. He was a member of the Anderson Rotary Club and a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where he was an elder for many years.
He was a Veteran of WWl.
Surviving are his wife: Mrs Cleo Bailey Lomax
Graveside services in Old Silver Brook Cemetery.
