Mary Ellen life was one of affiction she bore with wonderful chistiam patience, and was always cheerfull, kind and loving. The writer (Frank McCarty) of this family history was a favorite of hers and if there was one of his Aunts that he loved more then another it was Aunt Mary Ellen, she died at age 86, and was buried beside her parents in the McCarty/Wheeler Cemetery.
Her headstone is marked with her brother Peter McCarty.
