Accident Victim. April was killed in a single occupant car wreck after she lost control. Survivors include her husband, Mike Martin of Pontotoc, whom she married Nov. 13, 2004; her parents, Danny and Susan Caldwell of Mantachie; a brother, Pvt. Brandon Caldwell, serving in the U.S. Army; her grandparents , John and Faye Knight of Mantachie, and Marie Caldwell of Sherman; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Bennie Martin of Pontotoc; her grandparents-in-law, Johnie and Syble Martin, and Maymon and Marie Dowdy, all of Pontotoc. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John H. Caldwell, in 1970.
