Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m., today and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Usry was a Goodhope native. He moved to Pearl from Jackson, where he had lived several years. He was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church and was a Mason. He worked for the Hinds County Sheriff s Department 21 years.
Survivors include: wife, Gladys; sons, Andy Usry of Madison and Eddie Usry of Atlanta; daughters, Shirley Johnson of Brandon; brothers, Earl Usry of Conyers, Ga., and Marvin Usry of Brandon; sisters, Bemice Simmons of Morton and Linda Simmons of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
