Officer Thomas Klefisch served a total of 18.86 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
Thomas was the son of Detective Norman Klefisch who was also a Saint Louis Police Officer. His father died of a heart attack after completing a physical fitness test at the F.B.I National Academy in Quantico Virginia where he was in training. Tommy left behind his wife Janet, an adopted daughter Ashley, his son Aaron and siblings; Anna Donaldson SLMPD Civilian, Fred Klefisch SLMPD Civilian, Katherine Groaning, former SLMPD Civilian, and Jimmy Klefisch a SLMPD Police Officer.
