CHARLESTON - Victoria Hartman Creighton, 81, of Charleston, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. James Episcopal Churchyard. Burial will be directed by Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.
Mrs. Creighton was born in Reedy Creek, N.C., a daughter of James L. Hartman and Ida Brinkley Hartman. She was a member of St. James Church.
Surviving are her husband, James P. Creighton; a daughter, Katherine C. Johnson of Orangeburg; two sons, James P. Creighton Jr. of Milledgeville, Ga. and William H. Creighton of England; a sister, Zula H. Adams of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and 7 grandchildren.
