Cooperstown -
Mr. Samuel Bridger, 88, died April 22 at his home in Cooperstown.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday at his home, 75 Pioneer Street, the Rev. Walter Graig, minister of First Presbyterian Church, Cooperstown, officiating.
Burial will be in Springfield Center Cemetery.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1868 in Clinton Heights, a son of William and Mary (Newkirk) Bridger. He married Flora Steele. Dec. 5, 1900 at Springfield.
He had been a resident of Cooperstown for 54 years.
Surviving besides his wife are several nieces and nephews.
