Ralph, age 85, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Wednesday. He was a loving, honest, patriarch of his family who will be remembered as a true gentleman and loyal friend. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in WWII. He is survived by his children, Barbara (Lee) Lurvey, John Fredrick (Sue) Trepte and Patricia A. (Steve) Simmons; sister Lois Phillips; grandchildren Wendy Shinn, Katie (Chris) Kuchler, Stephanie (Sam) Scheiber, Philip Trepte, Julia Trepte, Andrew Simmons, Allison Simmons; great grandchildren Owen and William Kuchler, along with many other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by wife Elizabeth Trepte and brother Donald Trepte. A memorial service was held on Monday at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc, WI. Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Ralph gave countless hours in service to his community through leadership on boards of organizations such as the YMCA, local charities, church and financial institutions.
