Anderson "Lee" Moss, age 42, of 3095 Vandola Road, Danville, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence on the farm, surrounded by family and friends.


Born April 18, 1969 in Danville, he was the son of Alvin LeRoy Moss and Jean Dodson Moss, both of whom survive. He lived most of his life in the Vandola Community, and worked as an auto mechanic before becoming disabled two years ago. Mr. Moss was of the Baptist faith.


In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Teresa Norville Moss of the home; one brother: Jonathan "Jon" Moss and his wife Sarah of Danville; one sister: Jessi Moss Glasscock and her husband Clif, also of Danville; his paternal grandmother: Lula B. Moss of Danville; a number of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog "Raskel" and a number of close personal friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother: Edna C. Dodson; his maternal grandfather: Merian Anderson Dodson; and by his paternal grandfather: Edward Lee Moss.


Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Robert Vermillion will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. At other times,they will be at the residence, 3095 Vandola Road, Danville.
