G.C. BRANHAM DEAD.
He Was Injured by the Cars at Olathe,
Kansas, Last Wednesday.
George C. Branham, son of the late G.T. Branham, at one time president of the First National bank of Kansas City, died from injuries he received last Wednesday at Olathe, Kansas. He was employed as a brakeman on the Fort Scott & Memphis railway. While coupling some cars at Olathe Wednesday, he fell between two cars and was run over, sustaining internal injuries and a fracture of the left leg. He was put on a train and brought to this city for treatment.
He was 35 years old, married and lived with his family at Merriam, Kansas. Burial was made in Elmwood [sic] cemetery this afternoon.

George Branham, the Memphis brakeman, injured in being run over by a freight train at the depot here last Wednesday, died from his wounds at the hospital in Kansas City last Friday morning.
The remains were brought to his home at Merriam and interred in Shawnee [sic] cemetery.

George Chandler Branham was the son of George W. Branham and Mary Adams. He married #1-Mary Susan Comer on October 5, 1880 in Meadville, Linn Co, MO. He married #2-Dicy A. Green on June 20, 1889 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co, MO.
