DeWitt G. Brown, 77, of Laughlin, died Dec. 18, 2004. He was a heavy equipment operator and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Cordelia J.; daughter, Carol Lynne Tipton; and son, Carl Lee, both of Bloomfield, N.M. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Services will be at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
