Sarah Geurin was the daugher of Rev Ira and Hannah Lewis.
Beloved wife of John Astor Geurin, mother of Edna Geurin Duncan, Betty Ruth Fox, and John Astor Geurin. She was the sister of a very large family, the Lewis; which are laid to rest in Canton Ga.
I never got to know my grandmother, she is in my heart, I feel like I knew her thru my granddaddy, my aunts (her two daughters Edna and Ruth) and my daddy. My beloved grandfather was so in love with his beloved Sarah. My cousin named his beautiful daughter after her, Sarah Fox.
My grandmother would have been so proud of her beautiful grandchildren as she was of her children. Her oldest daughter Edna was expecting when she passed away, she named her daugher Judith Sarah Duncan.

I know that when my daddy passed his beloved mother was waiting for him, along with his daddy. It comforts me to
know that daddy is with the ones he loved and missed so.
My Grandmother was a beautiful woman, as she is a beautiful Angel of God.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousands winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die
