Dewitt was the son of John and Laura Paulaowina Geurin. I just found out that he was my grandfather's brother.This is a news paper clipping to the right, dated Dec. 7, 1906; sent to me by Sam Graham of Cartersville Ga.
I never heard my grandfather speak of his brother, he died at the age of 16; I would asume because it was a sad story and the way he died. According to the paper he suffered alot before he died. The paper went on to say that alot of other people got very sick, but he was the only one that died.
