LaGRANGE, Ga. --- Mrs Annie Mae Breed, 87, of LaGrange died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Dunson Baptist church in LaGrange with the Revs. Andrew J. Hall and Lamar Womack officiating. Burial followed in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
Mrs. Breed is survived by four daughters, Stella Abernathy of Alpharetta, Ga., Mary Jane Burchette of Decatur, Ga., Alice Bates of Alton, Ill. and Jenny Smith of Opelika; her son Jerry Breed of Sydney, Austria; her sister, Oppie Lee Brand of Moultrie, Ga.; her brother and Sister-in-law, Woodson and Catherine Houze of Forest Park, Ga.; and a sister-in-law, Claire Cooper of LaGrange; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Born May 17, 19909, in Heard County, Ga., Mrs. Breed was a member of Dunson Baptist Church, where she was a former choir member and member of the Baptist Women's Group. She was active in the Troup County Senior Citizens Center. She was a retired employee of WestPoint Pepperell's Dunson Mill.
