Josie Mayleen Perkins Krambeer 88 died Tuesday March 2 2004 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa following a long illness. Josie was boern on November 15. 1915 in LIscomb Iowa to Ole J and Mable (SMall) Ferkin. She was united in marriage to Jack Perkins on May 15 . 1935. Four children were born to this union. Josie worked as chief telephone operator for the N E Iowa telephone company in Luana for eight years until the company switched to dial in 1962. On November 4 1962 she married Robert Krambeer. Josies passions were her family, friends , crocheting, playing cards. bingo, triomino.s and her hot peppers. RObert and Josie worked hard at Krambeers construction Compan in Monona. They retired and spent twenty seven winters in Yuma Az. which they both loved dearly. Survivors include her children, Jack and Rosie Perkins, Camden Al. Larry and Karolyn Perkins, CHino Valley , Arizona, Beverly and Walter Philips Des Moines Iowa and JoAnn and Jim Klein, Cherokee VIllage Arkansas. twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, a brother Arthur Ferkin , Whittier Xa. and a sister Mayme Ringis , ROsemand Ca. Josie was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands sister Maureen Burger Brother Otis Ferkin and a great grand child.
