Miriam T. Ness, 95, formerly of York, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday at Masonic Homes in Elizabethtown.

The service will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.Miss Ness was born May 8, 1901, in York. She was the daughter of the late R. Murray and Mary E. (Thatcher) Ness.She was a life member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.Miss Ness is survived by a son, Luther Ness Wallick of York; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, John H. Ness of York; and nieces and nephews.Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Carl E. Bentz.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E.
