Frederick Daniel Troxell, 217 Seton avenue, Emmitsburg, died at three o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul Crabbs, of Littlestown, Pa., after an illness of six weeks, aged 76 years. He was the son of the late Abraham and Isabell** Welty Troxell. His wife was the late Elsie Ott Troxell. Mr. Troxell was a barber for 60 years, 34 of which were spent at Mt. St. Mary's College. He was a member of the Reformed church of Emmitsburg. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Paul Crabbs, Littlestown, Pa.; Mrs. John Hilbert, near Emmitsburg; Jesse Troxell, Smithsburg, and Miss Blanche Troxell, at home.
Funeral services will take place Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the funeral home in Emmitsburg. Rev. E. P. Welter will officiate. Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery, Emmitsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after seven o'clock Sunday evening. S. L. Allison, funeral director.
