Mrs. Anna M. Munson, widow of Charles Munson, who formerly resided on their west of town, died at her home on South Lafayette street, Macomb, Sunday, Jan. 21, aged 71 years, 4 months, and 21 days. Although she had been a suffer from rheumatism for a number of years, her late illness was of short duration, her death coming as a great shock to her family abnd friends.

Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. T. Rodgers, assisted by Rev. Martin of the M. E. church. Interment was made in Camp Creek cemetery.

Anna Matilda Kirkpatrick, daughter of John L. and Matilda Kirkpatrick, was born near Concord, Ill., August 23, 1845. She was the youngest of a family of five children, four brothers and five sisters, preceding her in death. On Sept. 27, 1872, she was united in marriage to Charles Munson, who died Jan. 13, 1912. To this union two children were born --George, who died in infancy, and Roscoe D. One grandson, Eugene Munson, survives to mourn the loss of a devoted grandmother. She was a woman of good Christian character and was admired and loved by a large circle of friends. She was converted to the Christian faith in early girlhood and for a number of years has been a member of the First Presbyterian church of Macomb.
