Lou Edith (Tazewell) Amis, 66, of Elmhurst died Friday, Dec. 6, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst.
She was born March 16, 1919, the daughter of Rose. B. and the late Lynn Tazewell.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle J.; a son, James T. of Elmhurst; and two sisters, Jean (Arnold) Ehlers and Claire (Jerome) Seyller.
Services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson and Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn.
Fisitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Hadley School for the Blind, or the American Cancer Society.
