He was a native of Mountainburg, where he attended Mountainburg Schools for a short time, a retired machinist for the Sunbeam Corp. and The Alliance Corp. After retirement he operated his own machine shop.
He was born November 29, 1939 in Mountainburg, AR to the late Buel and Oleta (Vaught) Chapman.
Survivors include his companion, Delores Howell of Mansfield, LA and his sister, Connie Klassen of Wichita, KS.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, 11:00am at Ocker Chapel of Alma, Arkansas.
Burial will be at Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg.
