Ollin was the son of William Gray and Edith(Edie)Elizabeth Wade Wooten.

Ollin Gold Wooten, 80, of West Chester, Ohio, died Saturday. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Wilson. The Rev. Kent Wooten will officiate.

He was a veteran of Vietnam, a former resident of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and a native of Edgecombe County.

He is survived by two sisters, Elsie Jordan of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Evelyn Proctor of Elm City, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
