Mr. Leas was a member of Richard J. Gross Post #8896 VFW, East Berlin. He was formerly employed by Reading Township. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was the husband of Helena M. (Goulden) Leas, who died March 17, 1989 and is survived by four sisters, Janet Shoemaker of Dover, Annie Wilt of East Berlin, Elverna Borror of Bethel Park and Dorothy Miller of Jermyn; four brothers, Arthur Leas, Fred Leas and Harold Leas, all East Berlin, and Paul Leas of Glenville, and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Eisenhart, Blanche Boycc, Catherine Marks, and Ellen Hinkle.
