Detlef Henry Anderson, pioneer resident of Nebraska & Douglas County, died in Omaha on 10 Sept. at age 75-10-10. He was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on 1 Nov. 1858. He married Catherine Sendel at Arcola, Ill on 3 Feb. 1887. Mrs. Anderson died in 1916, and 6 children also preceded him in death.

He is survived by 2 sons: Henry and George Anderson, and 3 daughters, Mrs. Marie Desler, Mrs. Ella Conlon of Calif., and Mrs. Clara Gottsch. Also by a brother, Hans Anderson of Florence and 5 grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson had resided for 32 years east of Bennington in Douglas county. Funeral services at home of Emil Gottsch; interment in the German cemetery north of Bennington. Pall-bearers: Columbus Wuif, John Rohwer, John Luschen, George Ohrt, Carl Kay & Frank Isham.
