Clifford W. Vredenburgh, age 82, died on March 4 in Doctors Hospital at Lakewood.
He attended the University of Nebraska, the University of California at Berkeley and USC, and also studied in Mexico and France.
He was a teacher of foreign languages at Long Beach City College for 36 years.
Vredenburgh mainly taught Spanish and was
a sponsor of the Pan American Club at Long Beach City College. He retired from the college in 1968. He was a member of Alph Mu Gamma and the Forum Club. He also was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Long Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Ethelyn; sons Robert W. and David G. Vredenburgh.
Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
