Gordon Brown dies
Gordon Brown, 67, died at the Whitesburg Hospital on September 9. He was the son of the late Stephen H. and Malinda Caudill Brown.
He is survived by six brothers: Robert Brown, Mobil, Ala.; Wheeler Brown, Jeremiah, Ky.; Merlin Brown, Letcher, Ky.; Millard Brown, Smithsboro, Ky; Jim Brown, Salem, Indiana; Willie Brown, Corydon, Indiana; Two sisters: Emma Brown and Mary Hampton, both of Letcher, Ky.
Services were held at the Doty Creek Church in Jeremiah, on Saturday, September 11 at 10:00 A.M. Officiating at the ceremony were Elders Alvie Caudill, Monroe Caudill, Clerance Dixon, and H. B. Whitaker.
Blair Funeral Home took charge of Funeral Arrangements.
