Clarence E. Arnold of Okeechobee passed away December 5, 2012 in Palm Beach, FL. He was born July 3, 1926 in Okeechobee, FL. He enjoyed the outdoors, tending his grove and spending time with his family. He was in the hay and grass planting business for many years. Mr. Arnold proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion and at one time he was the youngest Okeechobee County Commissioner. He married Sue Arnold in 1977.

Mr. Arnold was predeceased by his first wife, Louise Arnold; two children, Mark Arnold and Chrissie Arnold Williams; granddaughter, Casie Lynn Spires; and brother, Roy Cecil Arnold.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Arnold; three daughters, Irene L. Rowell, Bonnie Arnold (Eddie) and Angie Arnold; two sons, Michael Arnold (Joy) and Kevin Arnold; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Patty Hazellief and Alevene Lantz all of Okeechobee.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Buxton Chapel located at 110 NE 5th Street, Okeechobee, FL 34972. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Buxton Chapel. Interment will follow at Basinger Cemetery.
