Lake Arthur Man Dies Yesterday
JENNINGS, La. - Arcade Conner, 83, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday at 2 p.m. at his home in Lake Arthur, after a long illness.
Mr. Conner was born March 15, 1873 in Andrus Cove. At the time of his death, he lived at 505 Louisiana Street in Lake Arthur.
The remains are at the residence until time of services today at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur, with Rev. Gouald officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove cemetery under direction of Segura Funeral Home in Jennings.
Survivors are one son, Emile Conner of Lake Arthur; three daughters, Mrs. Taxton Vincent of Lake Arthur, Mrs. Aldes O'Blanc of Lake Arthur, and Mrs. Wallace Hulin of Mermentau; 15 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
