SP4 Trimble was the son of Ruby Holland and C C Trimble. He suffered a heart attack at 21 years of age while serving with the 647th Quartermaster Company, 240th Quartermaster Battalion, United States Army Support Command, Qui Nhoh, South Vietnam.

He entered the service in November 1966 and achieved the rank SP4 before his death in March 1969.
