Alice J. Hollenbaugh, 96, of Brighton Township, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 6, 2006, in the Providence Health Care Center, Beaver Falls, following a brief illness. Born April 10, 1910, in Mayfield, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Butsavich, she had been a resident of Brighton Township for the past 70 years and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, where she formerly belonged to the Marion Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore B. Hollenbaugh, on May 5, 1965; two brothers, Albert and Tony Butsavich; a sister, Anna Zibaila, and a son-in-law, Carl Eck. She will be sadly missed by her family including her son, Ted Hollenbaugh, Brighton Township; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joan Eck, and Nancy and Thomas Gomola, all of Ohioville; five grandchildren and their spouses, Juliet Gomola, Baltimore, Md.; Suzanne and Stephen Girting, Ohioville; Nancy and Greg Tress, Titusville, Pa.; Joseph and Chris Barsic, Chippewa Township, and Mark Barsic, Pittsburgh; seven great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Matthew and Hannah Girting; Allie and Marcus Tress, and Ian and Brenna Barsic; a special niece, Rose Camp, Beaver, and her friend and guardian angel, Lorraine Gregorius, Brighton Township.
