Funeral Services to be Held Today for L. Aubushon
Funeral services for Lewis Aubushon, whose tragic death from a gun shot wound, self inflicted, at the family home, south of town just over the Kansas line, about 4 o'clock Saturday afternooon, will be conducted from the Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. M.E.Richmond in charge.
The deceased familiarly known to all as "Lew" was a friend to all who knew him, and was an ideal husband and father as well as an influential and successful farmer. For months past he had been in failing health and during these latter weeks his reason had evidently become dethroned from a series of carbuncles, a local doctor in company with Mrs. Aubushon, having left for the south side of the river bridge, just a few moments before he gave up the fight.
He was the son of Labon and Elizabeth Aubushon and was born in Red Cloud on August 13, 1880, being aged 54 y 9 m and 2 d at the time of his passing. Besides his wife and three sons, Roy, Clifford and Lester, and one daughter Miss Bertha, he leaves other relatives and many friends to mourn their loss.
Burial will be made in the Red Cloud city Cemeter. Amack and Son services.
A more detailed obtiuary will paper in our Wednesday
issue.
